Logistics centre planned on former GM property in Detroit

Former General Motors properties in Detroit have been sold and are expected to be redeveloped with a logistics center employing more than 200 people.

The Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response Trust announced the agreement this week with real estate and development companies. They are working on behalf of an undisclosed manufacturer to build the center that will include a warehouse, cross-dock facility and paved yard for up to 350 trucks.
